Eligibility:
- Applicants must be non-Chinese nationality in good health.
- International students out of China or former graduates of Chinese universities.
- Bachelor’s programs: hold a high school diploma or above and be under the age of 25;
- Applicants for master’s degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35; Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.

How to Apply for Shanghai University Government Scholarship 2024
Step 1:
Download the Shanghai Government Scholarship Application Form from this link. Fill out the form.
Step 2:
Go to the application website to complete your online application. Submit your application documents and the scholarship application form. After you receive the pre-admission notice, pay the application fee of RMB 500 (this fee is non-refundable).
Step 3:
The Shanghai University Scholarship Committee will review your application materials and choose the scholarship candidates.
Step 4:
The list of scholarship candidates will be published online in late June on the application website.
